Meet the Morning Assistant: GetJobzi's Agentic AI, Explained
The assistant that works while you sleep
Why we built it
We've written before about why job seekers stop applying long before they stop needing a job β not because the roles dry up, but because checking six different boards every day, manually, is exhausting. The fix isn't another dashboard for you to remember to open. It's an assistant that comes to you on a schedule, does the checking, and only asks for your attention when there's something worth seeing.
That's the whole design brief behind the Morning Assistant: move the daily searching burden off the jobseeker and onto a system that never gets tired of checking eight job boards before breakfast.
What it actually does
π° Job Digest Agent
Checks the aggregated boards β Indeed, Reed, CV-Library, TotalJobs, LinkedIn, Adzuna, NHS Jobs and more β and surfaces what's actually new and matching, not everything.
π― CV/Profile Coach Agent
Delivers one focused, actionable tip a day based on your actual CV and how it's matching against real postings β not generic advice.
π§ Orchestrator Agent
Runs the morning schedule, decides what's worth sending today, and delivers it β Telegram or web chat, whichever you actually use.
You can also just talk to it. The Telegram side accepts voice notes β send a message the way you'd talk to a person, and it's transcribed and understood the same as if you'd typed it. Ask "what jobs do I have today?" or "how's my CV looking for data roles?" and get an answer grounded in your actual profile and the actual live market, not a canned response.
What "agentic" actually means here
"Agentic AI" gets used loosely, so here's what it means concretely in the Morning Assistant:
1. Multiple specialised agents, not one generalist chatbot. The Digest Agent, Coach Agent, and Orchestrator each have a narrow job and hand off to each other, rather than one model trying to do everything at once β the same division-of-labour principle behind most production agent systems.
2. Proactive, not just reactive. A chatbot waits for you to ask something. An agent acts on a schedule β the Orchestrator runs every morning whether or not you've opened the app, which is the actual point.
3. Grounded in real tools, not just language. The Digest Agent doesn't guess what jobs exist β it calls the same live board-aggregation data GetJobzi's search and auto-apply system runs on. Answers come from real data, not the model's training memory.
A real example: GetJobzi running inside Claude.ai
The Morning Assistant is GetJobzi's own agent talking to you. But we also publish an open MCP server (Model Context Protocol β the emerging standard for letting AI agents call external tools) so that other agentic AI systems can query the same live job data directly. That includes Claude.ai.
To write this article, we actually connected Claude to GetJobzi's MCP server and asked it to search live roles. This is the real output, not a mockup:
Five live, real postings, pulled and summarised by Claude in one turn, plus the same board-by-board salary benchmark we use in our own analysis β all without leaving the chat. That's the practical meaning of "agentic AI" for a jobseeker: it's not one company's chatbot walled off from everything else, it's a live data source that whichever AI tool you already use can plug into.
An honest note on where it's headed
We deliberately started with three agents, not ten β a Market Pulse Agent or a Skills Gap Agent are on the roadmap, but only once real usage tells us they're worth building rather than guessing upfront. Intent recognition inside the chat currently runs on a keyword-based normaliser; a fine-tuned model is the planned next step as we gather more real conversation data to train it on. We'd rather ship something narrow that works than something broad that doesn't.
